Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. In the same calendar year she released her first music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. The film was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her work in between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as contrast to her image of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as an accomplished director on several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
