Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has more than twenty albums. DiFranco describes her music as folk-rock and alternative. But it includes influences like punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. As one of first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco's parents were Elizabeth (Ross), a ex-student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each one another while students at the same school.
